First sold by Chateau Moteur the official Porsche dealer in South Australia in November 1984 as a 1985 year model car.
It is still in its original delivery specification of Ruby Red Metallic with a matching Burgundy interior and is in beautiful condition.
Being an 85 model car it has the higher ROW 231HP spec engine which offers plenty of punch in a 911 that only weighs approx 11170kg.
This is compared to the later 86 onward Australian delivered Carreras which only had 217Hp after being de-tuned for the arrival of unleaded fuel. The other thing we don't see too often in this car are genuine factory sport seats; these have just been re-trimmed so they look and feel amazing. Other options include an electric sunroof, air conditioning, electric mirrors, front and rear spoilers and amazingly a working original radio.
This is a car we know quite well having looked after it over the last 5 years. Its owner has never been one to defer maintenance so it is in excellent condition and drives superbly. Of note it has had a recent gearbox rebuild with new clutch and flywheel and a major valve clearance service just last year.
It comes with all its books, toolkit, jack and compressor. We have also just completed a full mechanical inspection and brought anything up to date that was required so it's ready to go.
