Judas Priest’s ‘Turbo Lover’ is For Sale

October 4, 2017 in Autohaus Hamilton News

Picked-up by the legendary rock star Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest while on tour in 1985, the 911 Turbo SE is to be auctioned off for the first time ever in history.

This 3.3Litre Turbo SE inspired Glenn Tipton to write the platinum-selling album 'Turbo', and best-selling single, 'Turbo Lover'. Tipton's 300bhp Porsche was finished in the one-off Chiffon White colour scheme, along with the special SE specific vented rear wheel arches, sill extensions and soft Chiffon white leather interior trim.

The 930 series 911 was maintained bu Tipton with great care, keeping the mileage down to just 14,000kms, and is expected to fetch up to $371,000.00 at the Silverstone auctions on October 21.
