Week 19, 2016 ??? Through the lens.

Our weekly updates are back, along with the plethora of Porsches we like to call ‘work’. It’s been quite some time since we were able to construct one of these, but no better time to pick up good old habits and re-birth into our daily lives. This week we’re going to look about a fortnight back in time, working our way forward to the current day.

It’s been about a month since moving into our new residence, even though there are still so many final bits and pieces to complete our new workshop… the vibe is absolutely electric! We’ve already hit capacity a few times with a sea of Porsches filling the workshop floor like colourful skittles in a bowl.

If this excitement of a new workshop wasn’t already enough, Porsche joined the party and gave the whole Porsche community in Australia something to sink their teeth into, Rennsport 2016! Along with a special guest (and our good frienda) Magnus Walker. The weekend was an absolute blast, it was great to catch up with our customers, friends and family over the weekend; many taking advantage of a private suite we arranged up above pit-lane.

With Rennsport done and dusted it was time to spend a couple of days with Magnus, after driving our Group 4 project car in regulation class it had become his adopted #277 down under. After forming a bond with slighter wider than normal 911, he was in for a challenge and a drive to Bathurst was in order. The Mount was calling his name and if there’s anything we know about Magnus he just loves a drive! All this being completed for his upcoming ‘Aussie Outlaw’ video.

The following night was spent under the Sydney Harbour Bridge with Magnus sending a call out on his social media prompting a last minute ‘Outlaw Meet’. It was great to see the man himself turn up in our Group 4 and take the time to individually greet and speak to all whom attended. Literally… around 500 people, each got a hello a photo and some kind words – legend!

Moving forward we’ve had a crazy week since in the workshop, each day being completely booked out with a ratio of 70% air-cooled, 30% water-cooled. We hope the photos inspire you and help you enjoy our shared passion of Porsche. Now let's get into the reason you're here, the photo diary: Week 19, 2016 - Through the lens: (note - there's 110 photos, so sit back and enjoy the scroll!)
