When you’re after a street legal race car there are very limited options when buying off the showroom floor. The 997.2 GT3RS is one of the last true raw cars to be sold off the showroom floor and whilst still retaining the manual transmission… perfect.

There aren’t many of these in the world, let alone Australia and with one of the lucky owner of these beasts have set out to get the most of such an already elaborated car with a few subtle tuning upgrades.

Last visit saw a GMG exhaust by-pass system being installed, which allows for the factory values to stay in tack but deletes the rear muffler, giving the exhaust system more flow and a louder, more appealing soundtrack. To see this upgrade click here.

This visit there was already a noticeable difference with the addition of some light weight OZ Racing wheels being fitted, which looks absolutely amazing! Additionally a set of GMG sway bars were selected by the customer and we installed.

After the installation of the new sway bars the GT3RS required corner weighting and a wheel alignment to get the car in tune for an upcoming tarmac rally.
