Targa High Country 2014

Targa High Country was first run in 2010 and now attracts an average field of 200 entries due to its challenging yet scenic roads, as well as being such an easily accessible region.

Based less than 3 hours from Melbourne, Targa High Country is based on top of Victoria's most popular Ski Resort, Mt Buller, some 1,800 meters above sea level. In summer the road to the summit masquerades as one of the most exciting hill climbs in the country and is the gateway to the other rally stages.

In 2014, this event will for the first time be held over 3 full days and take in 22 stages, including the ever-popular Mansfield town stage through the streets of Mansfield centre in front of thousands of fans.

This year we had only one car competing; a 2001 Porsche 911 GT2, driven and owned by the Williamson Family, a Father and Son team! Their efforts earning them 5th position in the Early Modern Class.

Congratulations to the Williamsons, from the whole team at Autohaus Hamilton!
