Last night we attended the Porsche Club of NSW’s monthly club meeting at Porsche Centre South Sydney. It was a great night which was kicked off the with beautiful 991 GTS Cabriolet staring at us through the glass.
As we moved upstairs we had a bird’s eye view of the beautiful showroom below, a great environment to settle in and take in the presentational topic of Shipwrecks. As the presentation went on it was refreshing to hear an alternative to the normal automotive engineering feats we are use too; for once the ocean took the lime light.
The desire to have a peak around the beautiful showroom below was all too much and with so much new and demo Porsche’s on display we just had to have a look. We really enjoyed the paint and interior style boards, which showcased Porsche’s new ‘retro’ era of paint and interior finishes… beautiful! A Porsche bicycle was also on display which made the cyclists mouths water.
As the meeting came to an end, upcoming events were touched on and more importantly this weekend’s Round 4 of the club’s super-sprint series, this time at Wakefield Park. It was great to catch up with a few familiar faces and of course to meet a few new ones.
Thank-you to the Porsche Club of NSW and Porsche Centre South Sydney for having us!
