Since we last saw the Porsche 918 Spyder, Porsche’s super high-tech next-generation supercar, it has gained a more complete collection of beautiful body parts and six months of development time.

It recently lapped the fearsome??N??rburgring??Nordschleife in a blistering seven minutes and fourteen seconds; already eight seconds faster than its 7:22 goal and eighteen faster than the mighty Carrera GT.

And it’s still a year out from release!

It may not be packed with all-out all-sideways tyre melting, but it’s a very interesting watch and it has a brilliant moment in which they engage race mode.
