David Thomas of Driving Adventures is a man after our own hearts. He loves nice cars, rolling roads and good friends, and puts together driving adventures that showcase the best of these things and more.
Driving Adventures has three events coming up and we thought that they would be great fun in a Porsche.
First up is the Snowy Mountains tour from the 21st to 23rd of November. This three day long adventure takes you through the picturesque drivers??? roads of the Snowy Mountains. On it, you will travel from Sydney to Lake Crackenback, via some wonderful back roads, spend a day driving through mountains, national park, and goldfields, and then head home on day three via some scenic and unique country roads.
The Snowy Mountains tour is based on a relaxed and flexible schedule, with accommodation at the Lake Crackenback Resort. Hit this link for the full details.
The next driving adventure is for the hoons (us) ??? a track day at Wakefield Park on the 5th of December. It is not a race day; rather it is a day to enjoy your car and spend some time socialising with other drivers.
The track will be open all day with no set sessions or restrictions, presenting a great opportunity to tackle Wakefield Park at your own pace and get to know your car and other people with a passion for cars and driving. Details can be found here.
David???s final driving adventure is something truly spectacular ??? the Tour of Europe 2012. This epic adventure takes you from Maranello to Goodwood, via many of motoring???s most iconic locations.
Over the course of this 22 day long tour you will visit Ferrari, Siena, The Schlumph Collection, Goodwood, Portofino, The Mennen Gate, Monaco, Spa, Col de Turini, Bastogne, the Nuburgring Nordschleife, Route Napoleon, The Pistenklause, Cinque Terra, Stelvio Pass, St Bernard Pass, Furka Pass, St Moritz and a whole lot more. This is once in a lifetime stuff.
The tour will run from the 10th of June until the second of July 2012. The full details, including schedule, can be found at this link.

Hopping in a Porsche and going for an adventure sounds pretty good to me!
