It’s been two months since our previous driving adventure, the tour of the Blue Mountains and Southern Highlands,??wrapped up, which means it’s time to head out on a new one!

We’re happy to announce the Autohaus Hamilton Tour of the Snowy Mountains, which will take place over the weekend of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of November, 2013.

We’ll be meeting at the Autohaus Hamilton garage at 8:00AM on Saturday the 2nd of November and the first rendezvous point is??Marulan at 10:30AM. From there we’ll be exploring the wondrous back roads through Bungonia and Bungendore, before a blast down the highway to Cooma and more windy windies on the way to Jindabyne.

Jindabyne will be our base for the tour, and we’ll be spending two nights at??Rydges Horizons Snowy Mountains Resort on Lake Jindabyne.

Our second day will begin with a quiet run through Jindabyne through to Adaminaby. From there we take to the Snowy Mountains Highway and head west into the National Park and the old goldfields around Kiandra.

The afternoon includes an amazing road through the heart of the mountains to Cabramurra and a run through the valleys and peaks of Khancoban, before joining the Alpine Way and heading back to Lake Jindabyne.

Sunday begins in fine fashion, with deserted high country roads through the unique landscape of Dalgety, Cooma and the Monaro. From there we head into the Brindabella Ranges and work our way towards Canberra, at which point we must say goodbye and leave you with the option to stay in Canberra for the night, or head home up the freeway to Sydney.

We all have our perfect drivers’ cars, and every one of them is welcome on this adventure! Our groups tend to be primarily Porsches, but we’re lovers of all things automotive and would love to have you in what ever auto you feel like enjoying for the weekend.

Alternatively, Dave has a fleet of Boxsters available for the weekend. Please let us know when you make your reservation if you’re interested in hiring one.

The cost for the tour is $990 per couple or twin share, and $840 for a single. This includes??all accommodation, three course dinners each night, cooked breakfasts, the support of David Thomas and the Autohaus Hamilton team, and a detailed road-book.

Places are first come first served, and spots are extremely limited - so get in quick! Bookings will be secured on payment.
