Porsche 911 Carrera S - Atlas Grey
The start of the 997 was a really good time for Porsche. A new 3.8 litre version of their "flat six" engine, gave a top speed of over 300kph and a 0-100 of less than 5 seconds. Porsche A.G. were at the time the most profitable car producer on the planet and were happy to invest in their cars. The quality of the 997 really showed this! The Carrera S came with 19"wheels, Li-Tronic head lights and P.A.S.M. adjustable suspension as standard.
This lovely 997 Carrera S was sold new by Porsche Centre Brisbane in April 2007. It is finished in Atlas Grey Metallic. The 997 was universally loved when it arrived and in S form it was the pick of the bunch. With 355HP, 20mm lower ride height, adjustable dampers ( comfort & sport ), larger red callipers, BOSE sound and silver interior trim there was a lot to like. This car is fitted with Porsches ultra-reliable Tiptronic transmission which is a joy to use in heavy traffic and yet still puts you in charge when the road clears for a bit of spirited fun.
This car is in great condition inside and out ( as you would expect with only 52,000 kms ), there are none of the usual 997 sticky / peeling buttons here and the rest of the interior is really like new. A previous owner has upgraded the Auto system. The car was also optioned with 19” Sport Design wheels from Porsche, as an option.
All servicing is up to date following a complete mechanical check over by us. The 4 yearly interval spark plug change and brake fluid flush has just been done and any other items attended to. It comes with all its original books and 2 x keys.
