Another stellar week in Porsche-land, Autohaus Hamilton. The week flew past with the allure of the Queen’s birthday long weekend waiting for us at the end. But the week didn’t start with such exciting news when our second social drive for the year was unfortunately washed out due to the intense rain and wind storms that hit NSW. The upside is it’s been rescheduled for the 7th of August (more details here).

In the workshop we’ve had a few special visitors, the showcase Porsche this week being a beautiful white 993 Carrera RS Clubsport. This car is the epitome of air-cooled, being the very last and most refined naturally aspirated air-cooled Porsche ever to be built. It was also a big week for our personal Autohaus Hamilton car, the Group 4. After a few months of constant use, track days, road trips, Aussie Outlaw and everything in-between it’s now time to take a few bits apart and start to clean it up!

The flares are off, along with a few other tedious bits and pieces. We were eager to put the new engine we’ve built in, but unfortunately time isn’t on our side and in other big news… we’re driving the Group 4 across the boarder to Melbourne for the Meguiar’s MotorEX at Melbourne Showground in early July (more details here). In the showroom we’ve acquired some new stock, all of which will be online and available for viewing over the next few weeks.
