MotorWorld Sydney has come and gone, the first of its kind, an event pitched by its founder Kris Walland as ‘an event to replace to the traditional idea of a motor show’. Now less than a week later it has been hailed a success by the organisers and manufacturers involved and confirmed to return to Sydney in 2017 and 2018.

We took part by offering a Porsche experience in our new GT4. This for us meant driving VIP ticket holders, some media and some loyal customers around the famous Sydney Motorsport Park. Whilst not on track we were located in their ‘Exotics’ tent; which as you’ll see below had quite a few stunning rides.

In the paddock you could check out numerous new models and makes, along with test drive the new Land Rover / Range Rover range on a specially built of-road track, which truly had you pointing towards the sky. BMW has their full range of new model motorbikes and of course a stand out was Tesla’s new Model X.

On track the pits were full of cars ready to test; Ford, Alfa Romeo, Lotus, Jaguar and Telsa just to name a few. Our GT4 experience was definitely a stand out, with most leaving the car after their few hot laps weak in the knees, sweaty in the hands and smiles – ear to ear.
